Insider tipFrom May through October, rattlesnakes pose a significant hazard. Sturdy boots are essential, and visitors must watch their footing around brush and rock piles. Infrastructure is minimal, limited to three trailhead kiosks. Therefore, all necessities, including water, a paper map, and navigation tools, must be carried in.
